The market offers two types of parking heating systems air-based and coolant-based, available for purchase in a number of configurations, with a variety of different feature sets and heating power ratings. Both systems provide optimal conditions for driving, even at extremely low outdoor temperature, and minimize the time of unnecessary operation of the engine. Parking heating establishes and maintains full comfort and security of driving in the winter months.

Coolant-based heatingThe advantage of coolant-based heating system is its ability to quickly heat up not only the cabin but also the engine, thereby extending its life. The heating unit integrated with the cooling subsystem of the main engine increases the engine’s temperature to the optimum level even before the engine is started. Thanks to this, the engine start is trouble-free, even at very low outdoor temperatures. What is more, the driver’s cabin is also pleasantly warmed up before the start of the drive. The hours of heating operation may be set up through a digital clock or using the remote control.

Air-based heating systemAir-based heating system is characterized by low electricity consumption, quick release of the heat into the interior of the cabin and easy installation inside the vehicle, which makes it mostly applicable for delivery vans. The air is heated directly inside the unit and blown to the inside of the cabin. It is a quick and economical way of heating the driver’s cab and the interior of the vehicle as well as of adjusting the temperature in the cargo area. Similarly to the coolant-based system, the temperature control is maintained through a digital clock or a remote control. Easy to install and operate, the air-based heating systems substantially improve the comfort, productivity and economy of the operation of vehicles during winter.

Auxiliary heating systems Most contemporary diesel cars with direct injection are equipped with auxiliary heaters whose purpose is to make up for the heat deficit in the cabin during the initial periods of the car’s operation and to heat up the engine. Standard fitted auxiliary heaters may be easily converted to the full functionality of a parking heater.
